The Importance of Al Aqsa

Abu Dharr (ra) reported that he asked the Prophet (saw), “O Messenger of Allah, which Masjid was built first on earth”? The Prophet (saw) replied, “The Sacred Masjid of Makkah”. Abu Dharr (ra) again asked, “Which was next”? The Prophet (saw) said, “Masjid Al-Aqsa”. Abu Dharr (ra) further asked, “How long was the period between the building of the two Masjids”? The Prophet (saw) said, “Forty years”. Apart from these, offer your prayer anywhere when it is time to pray, although excellence is in praying in these Masjids”. (Bukhari).
Abu Darda (RA) relates that the Prophet (saw) said, “A prayer in Makkah (Ka’bah) is worth 100,000 times (reward), a prayer in my Masjid (Madinah) is worth 1,000 times and a prayer in Al-Aqsa Sanctuary is worth 500 times more reward than anywhere else”. (Tabarani, Bayhaqi, Suyuti).
Zaid Ibn Thabit (ra) reports that the Prophet (saw) said, “How blessed is Al-Sham”! The Companions (ra) asked, “Why is that”? The Messenger (saw) replied, “I see the Angels of Allah spreading their wings over Al-Sham”.
Ibn Abbas (ra) added, “And the Prophets lived therein. There is not a single inch in Al-Quds (Jerusalem) where a Prophet has not prayed, or an Angel not stood”. (Tirmidhi, Ahmad).

• The place where many Sahabah are buried.
• A place where miracles were shown by Allah’s will.

• The place where angels have descended with Allah’s message.
• The only place on earth where all the Messengers of Allah prayed at the same time led by the Prophet Muhammed (SAW).

TOUR PROGRAM
Day wise Plan

Leave the UK for Jerusalam (direct / indirect) flights: Depart London Airport (via any good airline) Arriving into destination (Jerusalam).
Once we are through immigration control, we will make our way by private coach transfer to the King Solomon Hotel in Jerusalem.

Day 1
Jumu’ah in Al Aqsa mosque and walking tour of the Old City. An opportunity to travel around Jerusalem and unwind in the historic streets

Day 2
In Al Aqsa mosque.

Day 3
Sight Seeing and Shopping / City Seeing

Day 4

We will spend the day travelling along the West Bank and visiting many revered sites, including:
a)      Hebron Masjid Khalil-here you will find the resting places of some of the most illustrious prophets of Islam and their wives. The four Prophets are Ibrahim (AS), his sons Ishaaq (AS), Yusuf (AS), and Yaqoob (AS). You will also visit the resting place of Sarah (RA)-the wife of Prophet Ibrahim (AS).
b)     Bab e Lud This is 15km south east of Tel Aviv. It is said this is where towards the end of time, Prophet Isa (AS) will destroy the Dajaal.
c)      Yaffa (not included in the tour package-optional and time permitting) A unique yet wonderful opportunity to witness the cohesion amongst the 3 dominant faiths.
d)       Jericho (not included in the tour package-optional and time permitting) A unique opportunity to meet with Palestinian Date farmers.

Day 5
We will have the opportunity to follow in the Sunnah of our Beloved Prophet, Muhammad (PBUH) and spend time meeting the Orphans of Palestine and enjoy dinner with them.

Day 6
An opportunity to do your last-minute shopping.
